Sunday, September 30th - A restful day???

This week has been really hard. We found out Lane has Follicular Lymphoma, yet we don't know what kind, how it is treated, statistics, etc. The surgeon who did the biopsy is the one who told us, and he didn't give any more detail for us, just said the Oncologist will tell us everything. Great - we don't have an appt. with him until Monday! We have had to wait the whole weekend on pins and needles with this bad news, because when we look it up online, this is not the kind of cancer you want to get. We really have struggled with this news this weekend. We are very anxious to see the doctor tomorrow and find out what we do. In the meantime, we are still fasting and praying very hard, exercising all the faith we can. We also feel very humbled knowing how many people are fasting and praying for us as well.

Addison is really starting to smile more and more. Even though she still is having major issues with trying to poop, and we really are frustrated with nothing we do working to help her. She is so sweet though, and loved by Kayla, Savannah and Conner. I can't wait to go to Utah on Tuesday and have the family that is there meet her!

We'll write again when we know more about Lane.

I'm starting a blog!

Hey everyone, I know mine won't be fancy, but I am going to do a blog spot! Thanks Tricia and Jill for inspiring me to do it! I think this will be a great way for everyone to stay updated on our lives, especially as we have some curveballs coming at us right now. I will try to update every time there is something new to report about Lane. This will also serve as a journal of sorts, right?
