A fantastic week at Rocky Point

What's better than a week with your husband and no kids in a gorgeous beach house on a deserted beach? NOTHING!!!

To celebrate Lane feeling human again and being in remission, we took a little getaway the first week of December and stayed in the Casa Blanca Villas on Sandy Beach. We haven't been there for 15 years - it has changed that's for sure!

The funny thing is that the whole place was deserted! We literally didn't see another "tourist" or visitor there the whole time we were there! We had the beach to ourselves, the pools to ourselves, the dunes for quadding to ourselves, the restaurants to ourselves. 5 different restaurants - we were the ONLY people in every single one! That's OK I guess - we had a very nice private seranade that probably lasted longer than it normally would have - were there other people there to draw them away!

We had a great time hanging out, doing nothing, doing a 1000 piece puzzle (which by the way was missing a piece - and we opened it brand new!), quadding, eating, reading, getting massages, pedicure, running on the beach, etc.

The last night there, we were so starved for interaction with other people that we decided to go do the "booze cruise" and no - we don't drink. We talked them down to $20 a person instead of the regular $30. That was all the beer and margaritas you can drink - no help to us - as well as some food. We figured it would be worth getting out and doing something instead of sitting in a restaurant alone. There was a live band on board - and it looked to be quite a party on this 3-story boat that could hold about 200 people.

Well, we enjoyed a 2 hour cruise off the coast with 4 other people. Yup, there were 6 of us total. Can you even believe it? Why would they even take the boat out? I am SURE they lost money on that cruise! We were sitting at a table by ourselves, and started laughing when we saw the workers playing the Wii. I guess they have it there for the guests' entertainment, and since they had nothing to do, they were playing baseball on the Wii. Lane and I knew we were getting a Wii for the kids for Christmas so we thought we'd try it out. I guess the highlight of the cruise was playing tennis on the Wii. You can see pictures of the empty boat and the workers playing in the collage. That was the exciting night out to interact with other people.

Can I just say that I missed my technology though? I really need a little bit of noise in my life! There was no TV, the cell phone didn't have the best reception, there was no movie theater in Rocky Point (?what's up with that??). Thank heaven we brough the i-home and the i-pod. I laughed on the drive home because I was reading a book. Lane said he'd give me 1/2 hour more to read then I had to talk to him. I looked at him and said we have been together by ourselves for 3 days talking. I am out of things to say!!!! That's pretty scary when I run out of things to talk about or say! Wow!

Anyway, we had a great time, even if it meant I had to scratch half the Christmas decorations on the house. We got home and I had missed out on the whole first week of December and decided it just wasn't worth the effort of putting it all up when half the month was gone! :) Call me Scrooge.

Thanks to my awesome husband for a great week!

I love my chocolate

Why, why, why must everything good be bad for us? I am feeling that way about my love affair with chocolate. Especially dark chocolate. Smooth, silky, dark chocolate.

It used to be that it always was bad for you. Now, experts say that the pure cacao has some health benefits. I personally subscribe to that way of thinking for sure. :) However, at this Christmas time, where chocolate is abundant in the pantry and on the shelves, I am avoiding it, and it is avoiding me. I figure if I don't buy the good stuff and bring it home, I can't eat it, right?

Wrong! I have resorted to M&Ms, chocolate chips straight from the bag, frankly whatever works. I think I have to blame my dear sweet mom for my chocoholism. (Is that even a word? It is a sickness, I know - cause I have it!)

I really have missed my friend chocolate. Trying to not buy it so I can be "good" has been kinda hard!! So, maybe I will have to just break down and buy the real Dove good stuff and indulge. On second thought, maybe I won't - a moment on the lips = a lifetime on the hips!

Time to hit the gym.

I love my Conner

Today, driving home from his friend Collin's house, Conner asked if dogs have babies. Of course they do, I said. "Well, what do they do? Just like throw up and a baby dog comes out?"

I seriously love the kid.

Thanksgiving at the Adairs!

Posted by Picasa

One of the benefits of not having your own family live by you is you get to adopt a family wherever you live! Lane's whole family is here, none of mine is. It was the "in-law" year for Thanksgiving, which means we were on our own. In Mexico it was great - because all of us were alone - we had Thanksgiving together. But here everyone has family. It makes it hard for me with none of my family here.

So, I am sooooo thankful for good friends who let me adopt them as my own family! We had a great time with our adopted family - the Adairs.

This year we have so much to be thankful for. It really is crazy to look at all the "bad" things that have happened to us, but then when we list the blessings, we find ourselves with an over-abundance of them, and wonder how we can complain about anything! We really have been so blessed and continue to be every day. Life is good - you just have to look for the good!

The family tradition continues . . .

Savannah met up with the turkey after the race

Me and the girls before the 10K. Yeah - I am ducking to get down and "fit" in the picture! :) Why must my good friends always be like 5 ft. 2 in.????

The whole crew when it was all over. We had a great time! Kayla, Savannah and Lane did the 2 mile fun run. Conner and Addison were cheerleaders.

Me crossing the finish - racing that dang lady to the left of me. We played chase the whole race - I think we tied.

Lane taking off on the fun run.

49:48 Yup! That was my time for the Turkey Trot! Exactly an 8 minute mile! Yea! I actually beat the turkey this year! That is supposed to be the goal. Course I try not to get my head too big cause the turkey is a 65 year old man in a 30(?) lb. turkey suit!!! At least that's what they tell me . . .

Next year - shaving off another minute.

Totally worth the work - cause then I eat like crazy the rest of the day and only feel a tiny bit guilty.

Savannah's Baptism Day

After the longest month known in the history of man, Savannah was FINALLY able to get baptized on Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. Because her birthday was October 24, she had missed the October baptisms and had to wait until November. Boy you would think it was worse than dying! But she had a great day with family and friends. We wish Grandma and Grandpa Forsgren had been there, but we know they were there in spirit. Savannah was able to wear her new baptism dress and the beautiful necklace and bracelet Grandma Forsgren gave her! What a great day for our very special girl!

A guess who game!

Question: Guess which one of us just got out of a ride in the convertible?

Phantom of the Opera!

3rd row + smack in the middle + 2 daughters + 1 good friend = FANTASTIC NIGHT!

I will never forget the first time I saw Phantom of the Opera. I was at BYU and my brother and friends were driving to California to see it. I decided I wanted to go, so they let the "little sister" come along. It was sooo great, I loved it! Even though we were in the cheap $25 nosebleed seats. I also remember driving home and getting home around 3 a.m. I was driving toward the end and totally falling asleep. I think we were 1/2 hour from home, and I couldn't keep my eyes open any more so I had to trade out with someone for the last 30 mins.

Second time I saw it was after Lane and I had been married about 1 year. We won airline tickets to fly to California, and I said we HAD to go see Phantom. So we went - again in the cheap $25 nosebleed seats.

So, fast forward 17 years and I got to go again (sadly without Lane - he was still way too sick to go :( ) I loved taking my girls, and my good friend Lezlie who was nice enough to fill in at the last minute ;) (She assures me it wasn't a problem!) Can I just say I MUCH prefer the 3rd row, and am afraid I won't be able to see another show if I'm not down there! It was so worth the extra money! Your body shakes with the music, you feel every note down to your bones! Wow, what I wouldn't give to have the talent like that and be on Broadway. Maybe in my next life, huh?

Savannah was sitting there in awe over the good seats, looking at the program. She read something about becoming a VIP. She asked me what that was. I explained. She then asked, "Are we in the VIP seats? Cause these are really good seats!"

That was a good night.

The Casa Grande Sprint Triathlon!!!

For the second year in a row, I decided to do the sprint triathlon in Casa Grande. I convinced a couple of friends to come and do it with me too! It was so fun! I really loved doing it last year, and wanted to improve my time this year. Too bad I only shaved 3 minutes off my time, but hey - it was fun! I love having something to train for!

The obligatory "before" picture.

The 3 musketeers in the pool - my most hated part of the tri. I am a slow swimmer!

Crawling out of the pool after wondering for a full 11 minutes why in the he** I am doing this! :)

Much happier after the 10 mile ride - that is fun.

Crossing the finish after a quick 3 mile run. Even with a bad side-ache I clocked my best 3 mile time so far! Did it in 25 mins - and that's after the swim and bike! But, I shouldn't brag right? Surely it was a fluke.

Barb, Lisa, Beth and me at the end.
My favorite cheerleader came to support. Thanks honey! I love you!

Just have to mention my friend Beth took 1st place in her age group! She rocked! She trains like a maniac. I wish I had her drive. Oh well. I took 26th out of 80 in my age group. The winner of the women did it in 1:10:28. I did it in 1:19:00. So looks like I have my work cut out for me if I want to win the whole thing next year! ha!

Can't wait for the next one!

Happy Birthday Savannah!!!

What kind of party do you have for a girl turning 8 born exactly one week before Halloween? Why, a costume party of course! After changing her mind about 8 times, we finally agreed a costume party at the park would be the perfect way to celebrate our sweet Savannah turning 8! She had her friends come and we played Halloween games like the mummy wrap, donut eating contest, freeze dance, Halloween bingo, etc. We had a blast! Now Savannah can't wait to get baptized this month!

Our little Savannah has the best heart. She is soooo sweet and caring. She loves to play with Conner and Addi, and idolizes her older sister. She loves to sing in her singing group, and LOVES to read. She really is the biggest bookworm. Incredibly book smart - we are working on the common sense part :)

Savannah Fe was prayed here by her big sis. That's why her middle name is Fe (pronounced fay - but meaning "faith" in Spanish). Kayla was 5 1/2 when I finally got pregnant with Savannah. We had been waiting a long time and finally got pregnant while in Guadalajara. When I was 3 months along, I started bleeding like crazy on the way home from a tennis match! I was sure I had lost our baby. But, she was OK, I was put on bed rest for a couple of months, and she made it full term. In fact, she weighed 9 lbs. 5 oz. just like Kayla! Ugh! Pushing that out wasn't fun! Anyway, we love our little "Mexican" and are so happy to have her in our family!

You think you have bad hair days?

Oh be so thankful we eventually get hair thick enough to lay down. Addi's morning hair always starts my day with a smile!

A Day at the Phoenix Zoo!

This week is Fall Break. Lots of people gone - not us. We knew Lane would be sick so we are hanging at home having a "staycation" instead of a vacation. It actually has been pretty fun - thanks to friends and neighbors!

Monday the kids did a movie with dad. Ice Age 2. So sorry I missed that one. Not really.
Tuesday was the zoo with my friend Sherry and her boys. We had a great time. Really.
Wednesday - friend day.
Thursday - friend day as well. We were going to do a bounce house, but the kids are pretty much treating the downstairs like a huge bounce house, so I figure this one is free, and the other costs a lot. I always like free!
Friday - Mesa Museum - should be fun!

That about sums up all that has been going on, if you don't count the hundreds of hours spent cleaning up after Addi - washing walls, floors, cleaning up broken glass, hiding things, hiding more things, finding her drinking the liquid children's ibuprofen . . . you know, just the norm! Seriously, someone help me because one of us isn't going to survive these 2's!!!!!!

Finally - some pictures of Kayla cheering for FJH!

OK, so the pictures aren't the greatest - I'm not a professional who can capture great shots of a moving person in the dark. But, I got some pics of Kayla doing what she loves - cheering! It has been so fun for our family to go and watch her cheer and dance at the games this year. She does a great job! We love you Kayla!

My new ride - Part 2

So, as promised last week, I finally had my awesome photographer (Conner) get a shot of my other new ride. Yup, I bought a road bike! I was so very excited to get this as I keep borrowing my friend's husbands bike while we go riding, and it was time to spring for my own.

We found a GREAT deal from this guy who rides with my bro-in-law. So, my good friend Lezlie (who I haven't seen in too long!) brought her awesome bike up yesterday and we went for a little ride. I really am enjoying riding, and can't wait to get Lane healthy so he can come and ride with me too! It is great exercise, and very therapeutic.

So, it looks like I am pretty much ready to do the Casa Grande sprint triathlon in November. I am getting excited! I did it last year for the first time and really had a blast. Now that I know what to expect, I want to give it a go again this year and see if I can better my time. I also think I've suckered two friends into doing it with me this year. I'm sure they'll both beat me, but it should be lots of fun! I love having a goal and something to work for. It is really hard for me to train just to train. I need a race or something out there to motivate me.

Sharpie update - Cancer update

So far we have tried:

a special stone floor cleaner
Magic Eraser
Oops cleaner
acetone

No luck. Ugh - will keep trying. Haven't tried out the WD-40 yet!

Now on to more important matters:

Lane is in remission!!! His scans from Tuesday came back showing "negligible" tumor activity, which means he is in remission! That means only 2 more rounds of chemo, then back to normal life!!!! At this very moment Lane is telling the kids. They say, "Hey! Now you're gonna get your hair and eyebrows back!"

What a great day!

Pablo Picasso is alive and well in our home

Sharpie and a 2 year old just don't mix.

You should see the limestone floor . . . here's hoping the solution we found on google works: nail polish remover and WD-40. Seriously, this kid is just too much.

My new ride - Part 1

A long time ago I told Lane I will never, ever, ever live in Arizona. "Over my dead body" were my exact words. Hmm. . . I totally buy the whole never say never thing now.

So then I changed my tune to, "If I have to live in Arizona, I have to have a pool, and I would really love a convertible." So, I've always had the pool - a must - and just last month Lane totally shocked me and bought a convertible! I have joked how I need a "tennis car" to zoom around in when I don't have all the kids with me, AND if you are going to have a small, zippy car, it may as well be a convertible, right? I don't know how anyone can argue with that logic! Lane tried to, but I shot down every argument he had. Still, thinking it would never happen, he suprised me and went to the car auction and bought a brand new 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder! Can I just say I love it, and it is very fun.

Thanks for the therapy honey!

*** Now watch for my new ride part 2! I gotta get a picture first! ***

Soccer season is upon us.

Savannah couldn't wait . . . Conner could. But the season is here and Friday nights and Saturday mornings (usually) will be spent at the Red Mountain Park watching our little munchkins try to kick the ball around. A futile attempt usually - but fun nonetheless!

Savannah's team is the Yellowjackets, and Conner's team is the Firecrackers. Kids are funny with the names they choose.

Today on the way home from the game, we of course had the radio on and Conner said, "Can you turn it to Poke in the face?" Oh my gosh - is that the funniest thing ever? He wants to hear Poker Face by Lady Gaga. I guess Poke in the face could be an alternate name for the song. Gosh I love that kid.

When skin meets sand . . .

This morning I had the pleasure of meeting some friends for a fun trail run out in Usery Park. It was a gorgeous morning, and actually under 90* at 6 a.m., so that was a bonus! We had a great run up through the trails of nature, didn't see any rattlesnakes, didn't get jumped on by jumping cactus, and avoided any coyotes. We ran up and around at the foothills of the mountain, about 4 miles, then started back down, when suddenly, I slipped(?) on some sand, and did a perfect slide into home plate - except there was no home plate. Thank heaven I didn't actually hurt any bones or joints, but I got some good scratches all over. The funny thing is no one had a towel, kleenex, nothing! So, I had to run back down the mountain (about 3 miles) to the car looking like a bleeding zombie from a B-movie horror flick! Come to think of it, I should have run screaming down the mountain - that would have made for an entertaining morning for all the other hikers/bikers out there.

Showing off my "battle wounds"

So my friend drove us home, and said, "Maybe Lane will have a little sympathy for you and take care of you today." I laughed, knowing heck would freeze over before that happens. So, I get home and Lane isn't there. I wonder where he is, when he comes walking in through the garage door, gives me a pained look and says, "You fell too?"

"Me too? What do you mean?"

I then see a horrific lump on his arm, his scratched up hands, and later see a very swollen ankle. Apparently he was out exercising too and stepped wrong on the curb, and went down hard and fast. Poor guy - the ankle does not look good. We think it is just sprained as he can walk on it, it's just swollen.

So, even when we're apart, we go down together. Ha!

Happy Labor Day everyone!

P.S. - the run was still totally worth it - even with the fall.

Bookin' a cruise . . .

My brother-in-law Steve sent us info on a great deal for a Disney Cruise. He always gets killer deals for stuff, and we appreciate him letting us know about it. (Thanks Steve!)

Happily and with great excitement I finally had time today to call the place and book the cruise. It was supposed to be $399 per person, with kids going free with an adult. Well, apparently I was a little late, cause they don't have that deal anymore, and apparently we are too big as a family. I wonder how on earth they can do these deals for 2 parents and 2 kids! I mean really, how many people are lucky enough to only have 2 kids????! (jk!)

So, the screaming deal aside, it still is a good deal, we just have to get 2 cabins. So, I am ready to do the deal. Here's where the great frustration starts. It is with my overly helpful and chatty reservation agent.

I kid you not, I was on the phone for 1 hour and 4 mins. doing all of this. She kept saying the computer was slow. How unfortunate for me. In those "waiting" times, I learned the following about my helpful agent:
-she used to be a nanny - she knows how hard it is to be home with the kids all day. In fact her sister is a stay home mom, but it is hard work picking up all day long and then on top of that her sister had to mow the lawn cause her husband was too tired.
- being a nanny, she had to potty train the little boy and it was so hard. She recommends I have my 2 year old potty trained. Have her copy the older sisters, that should make it go faster. Thanks - cause honestly potty training is not my forte.
- she ran a store,
- she worked 9 days in a row, had 2 days off and this is her first day back
- she has a niece and nephew that are both really cute, but the nephew is way cuter than the niece and it is kind of sad because the niece knows that so she picks on the nephew (who looks just like Charlie Brown) - various stories demonstrating that.
- her dad took all the kids and grandkids on a Disney cruise and it was great.

I can't even remember the rest. Needless to say, I was trying soooo hard to not be bugged with all of this!!!! In the end, I got the cruise booked, and we are going on our first family cruise in January! Yea! I am so excited. Don't tell my kids - it is their Christmas present. Should be fun!

Smiley Kyle

OK, so I did a blog about Kaelyn coming and visiting. Well, not to be outdone, we had Kyle show up for a night trying to prove that my brothers in my family are just as awesome as my sisters. I have 4 wonderful brothers who really couldn't be more different from each other either. Someone once said they have never known a family with such different and strong personalities among all of them. I have to laugh, because it really is true! Did we even come from the same parents? I'm pretty sure maybe all of us were adopted and mom just faked 8 pregnancies? ha!

Anyway, Kyle and I were always really close as kids. We are 18 months apart. Me, Kyle and Kaelyn were the 3 Musketeers. However, there isn't the competition between brother and sister that there is between sister and sister. So, we really didn't ever fight. Or maybe we never really fought because Kyle is just so happy and easy-going. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure his wife would testify he can get mad and lose his cool, but just look at the face. He is really smiley!

Anyway, I loved being Kyle's little sister. You see, he was pretty popular in school, and being one grade behind him didn't hurt me at all! I got the "benefit" of having all his cute friends over to the house when we were in high school. He was popular, cute and lots of fun. I enjoyed being "Kyle's little sister" (although I really wasn't technically little!) I also love to stand by him - he is 6 ft. 4 in. He makes me feel short! I love that! There are very few people in this world who are that tall, and I wish I could just surround myself with them all the time so I don't feel so tall! Oh well, this post is not about me . . . ;)

Anyway, Kyle lives in Texas and we really miss them. Some day we hope to be able to get them to move to AZ. Our girls are the same ages and we would have lots of fun. I love hearing him and Angi sing together. I'd make them come sing for me at least once a week.

Some of my best memories are of doing the early-morning paper route with Kyle. We'd get up at 6 and wrap the papers in the van and go deliver them. All the while we'd talk about stuff. I remember getting a play by play telling of "Top Gun" which he had seen the night before. I remember hearing all about the Men at Work concert - his first concert he got to go to. I remember him always saying "FREAK!"

He is full of laughter and is one awesome worker, husband, father and very talented in many things. I love you Kyle!

(Now I have to find the pics of Keith and Kelson when they came to visit and do a note for them!)

Life Isn't Fair

"Life's not fair, Kathryn, you may as well get used to that." Famous words my mom and dad said to me many times. Funny how the tears and tantrums I was throwing as a teenager were so pitifully ridiculous, but seemed so huge to me. I couldn't go to my friend's house, or my boyfriend's house, or couldn't have the dress or jeans I wanted, I couldn't do something cause I didn't have the money and my MEAN parents wouldn't give me any. Waa, waa, waa.

I was reminded of how you can still feel life isn't fair even as an adult last week. I was having a "poor me" day and wanting to throw a tantrum because things weren't going how I wanted. We were supposed to leave for CA, and the hour kept getting pushed later and later, my convertible's a/c didn't work (that Lane just bought brand new), so I couldn't pick it up and drive it. On top of that, a daughter was throwing her own tantrum about the trip, my 2 year old was . . . well, being a 2 year old. I just was so frustrated with everything I just wanted to drown my sorrows in a big Dove chocolate bar - and I couldn't even have that! So, feeling like I couldn't have anything I wanted, I wanted to throw a good old fashioned teenage tantrum.

Then I remembered my mom and dad saying, "Life isn't fair." It really isn't.

I don't want my husband to have cancer and have to do chemo.
I don't want Lane's uncle or cousin's baby to have cancer either.
I don't want to have my friend's sister die the day after giving birth to her baby.
I don't want my friend to have her husband abandon her with 4 kids.
I don't want my friends to file bankruptcy and lose everything they have because the economy is so bad.
I could list a whole bunch more - but I'd need some Prozac so I'll stop here.

Then I of course came to my senses and realize that although life isn't fair, we have to take what we are given, make the best of it and hopefully become better people from our challenges. God has a plan for all of us. I truly believe that. We have to go through hard things to make us stronger and better. I know some day I will look back at all of this and say, "Oh, that's why I had to go through that." Actually, I am pretty sure some day I'll even be thankful for the trials and challenges I've had.

But for now, I just kinda think life isn't fair. I'm sure tomorrow will be much better . . . it always is in the morning.

I love my sisters!

I am lucky enough to have 3 sisters and 4 brothers. I have to say there is something about sisters. In our family, we definitely have very strong personalities - and we either love or hate each other - usually love each other. As Lane says, you don't want to mess with a Forsgren woman. I don't have the slightest idea what he is talking about ;)

I am going to dedicate this post to my sister Kaelyn. She came down to visit me and was here with her kids for a week - the week of my birthday to be exact. That was a great birthday present! She happened to have a niece on Scott's side of the family who was getting married the same day and same temple as my niece from Lane's side of the family! Funny coincidence, no?

Anyway, I just have to say as sisters, we could not be more polar opposites. Not only do we not look alike, but our personalities are so different! I am loud, outspoken, a total friend and social person. She is quiet, shy, happy to be alone. I am un-organized, slightly cluttery and don't dedicate my every waking hour to my kids. She straightens the spout to her lotion (don't move it or she'll know you used it!), organized my pantry, constantly worries about her kids and what they are going to do/eat/play/etc. Maybe that's why we get along so good!

I love Kaelyn and let me tell you why. She has overcome various challenges in her life, and really come out on top. She knows what she wants, and she works very hard to get it. She loves her family fiercely, and don't you DARE cross one of her kids or you are in big trouble! ;) She is a nurse, and worked very hard in school to get there. She reserves judgement, doesn't give advice that isn't asked for, and will love you no matter what you do. She also stepped in very nicely as the mother of the family while mom and dad are gone on their missions.

I love you Kaelyn!

(Now for my other sisters, come stay a week with me, and I'll do an awesome post about you!!!! ;) )

On August 15th we had the honor of having Carly and Court's wedding reception at our home. I really wish I had taken more pictures! It really turned out beautiful, with the bride and groom looking absolutely gorgeous! Geez, young people are getting more and more beautiful! It's not fair!

Oh well, the day was beautiful, I think they loved the reception, and they are off happily living their new married life together in Provo. I, on the other hand am thankful that we were able to get the patio tiled, the TV mounted out back over the fireplace, curtains made for the breakfast alcove, the fountain in the pool working correctly, the sound system in the house re-programmed so it works how it's supposed to, spots touched up with paint . . . the list could just go on and on! So here's a way to get those pesty little jobs done that are left over - have a big "something" at your house and you'll have to get it done!

When can we come over for your party????

The first day of school

OK, so it has been 2 1/2 weeks since school started, and I am just now getting to blogging the pictures of it. We have had some crazy few weeks here, and things are finally slowing down, so I am ready to actually upload the pictures and let the family see.

Conner started all-day kindergarden this year! Can you say Hallelujah?!!! Although I am failing terribly as a mother, because he is my first child I am sending to Kindergarden not reading! (roll your eyes here). The kid has been a little ambivalent about it, but is doing pretty good. It is a good thing we have Cooper across the park who is also in Kindergarden. Positive peer pressure.

Savannah starts 2nd grade reading at a 6th grade level. She truly is my bookworm. She FINALLY lost her 2 front teeth! yea! She LOVES school!

Kayla is in 9th grade and a cheerleader this year. She loves, loves, loves it. I remember loving belonging to something. I am really happy for her, and very scared for us - she is so beautiful inside and out. Better get a gun!
