We had all 8 kids come home. We had all but 2 of the grandkids. There were 40 of us all together. It was crazy and fun, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
We all met up at the Logan Temple where mom and dad were married June 5, 1961. After the kids played at the park and some adults did sealings, we went to the Blue Bird Cafe for a buffet dinner, the exact same restaurant where mom and dad had their wedding breakfast 50 years ago!
It was good food, a fun program, and lots of laughs and memories. I am so thankful for such great parents who sacrificed and gave so much for their kids.
