I have to document this, so I can look back one day and say, "Yes, I really did all that!"
Summer means vacation for tons of people. When you're an aerobics instructor, you have to get people to cover your classes for you. You help them, they help you.
Well, apparently, this is my week to help. And I teach at 2 different gyms (actually 3, but I only teach once a week at the 3rd one, so it doesn't count), so I kinda feel loyal to both, and get hit up twice as much to sub!
Here's the week in a nutshell :
Monday:
5:15 am - my regular cycle class
6:15 am - my regular private tennis lesson
9:00 am - my regular Pilates class
4:30 pm - subbed a total body conditioning class
5:30 pm - subbed a muscle class
Tuesday
5:15 am - subbed another muscle class
9:30 am - taught my regular cardio class
10 am - taught my regular body sculpt class
11 am - taught my regular Silver Sneakers class (weights and exercise for older people)
**Turned down a chance to sub a step class that night. My legs were sore!
Wednesday
5:45 am - taught my regular step class
9:30 am - subbed a cardio sculpt class
Spent the rest of the day painting my bedroom
Turned down another chance to teach an evening sculpt class.
Kind of my "recovery" day

10 am - DIE!!!!!!
So there you have it. A not so normal week of working out. Here's the funny thing - I've been eating*sort of* good, and don't even lose a pound! Ugh! You'd think that I could at least drop 5 lbs. with all this working out and good eating. (Just don't count the cookie dough I ate yesterday, or the chips and salsa I had the night before at Chili's!)
And here is the nightmare that is my bedroom.
I really painted it with all the furniture in there, pushed to the center, and tons of crap everywhere. (I promise I always make my bed, but with this mess, why bother?) I am sooooo sick of the little remodeling things we are doing. All new baseboards - even in the closet - because you KNOW everyone looks at the baseboards in the closets! (ha!)
New carpet for the family room and our bedroom and stairs comes on Saturday. New padding under the perfectly good carpet in the living room (someone want to come move our piano and huge armoir?) and even new carpet in the master closet - because again, everyone looks at your closet! :)
I hope I survive all this, and am so thankful for cleaning ladies to come and wipe the dust off of everything because it gets pretty dirty in here!
I think I earned a Triple Chocoholic Blizzard from DQ, do you?
